R & G Tail Tidy on a DR-Z400SM

Not tidy...

I'd fitted a cheap tail tidy off eBay on my FZ6 that had turned into a rusty lump in no time at all, so when I picked one for the DRZ I went for a bit more expensive alloy one. Again from eBay, but this time from R & G.

I must say the instructions were more like suggestions on how to fit and the wiring diagram for the new tail light was none existent. I worked it all out anyway, though if you are not an electrical type you may not feel confident cutting off plugs. Plus the supplied connectors were not sealed so needed a bit of self amalgamating tape around to keep water out of the wiring loom.

So all in all, it did what it said on the tin, but took a lot longer to fit than you would expect with all of the additional fiddling about.

Tidy!

Yes, I know a lot of pictures are blank. Will fix this eventually, blogger has moved some links!

Trailing hand technique

Stay safe, people.

Since I first posted this I've noticed that it's become one of the top hits for 'Trailing Hand Technique'. So if you've ended up here looking for information on how to walk down a set of stairs and are wondering why there is a picture of someone with very long arms, I apologise.

There's a START, STOP, FOCUS* card in there somewhere. (*Delete as appropriate)
